AEMC Promotes Career Exploration for New Second Generation Students and Strengthens Local Semiconductor Talent Development

Advanced Echem Materials Company Limited (AEMC) has long been committed to supporting the education and development of children from new immigrant families (hereinafter referred to as "New Second Generation" students). For three consecutive years, AEMC has sponsored scholarship programs for children from new immigrant families, encouraging students with outstanding academic performance and exceptional talents to pursue their dreams. This year, AEMC further expanded its efforts by incorporating corporate visit programs, providing New Second Generation students with firsthand exposure to the semiconductor industry. Through these experiences, students are encouraged to explore future academic and career pathways while developing into local talent with cross-cultural perspectives and strong technological literacy.

On July 3, 2026, AEMC partnered with the Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center under the Social Affairs Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government to organize the "New Second Generation Corporate Visit Program." The event brought 24 senior high school, vocational high school, and college students from new immigrant families to the Kaohsiung Park of the Southern Taiwan Science Park and AEMC's Kaohsiung Plant.

The program began with an introduction to the development of the science park and its industrial clusters. AEMC managers and employees then shared insights into the company's core products and the semiconductor industry's demand for talent. Through on-site facility tours, cleanroom suit experiences, and semiconductor process presentations, students gained a closer understanding of the semiconductor materials industry and had the opportunity to observe real manufacturing operations beyond the classroom.

Participating students shared that the visit provided them with a more concrete understanding of semiconductor materials and the technology industry. They also developed a deeper appreciation for the importance of technological innovation and precision manufacturing processes, inspiring new ideas and directions for their future academic and career planning.

Guided by its core values of "Sincerity, Trust, Service, and Innovation," AEMC will continue investing in local talent development. Through initiatives such as scholarship programs, corporate visits, award ceremonies, and hands-on science workshops, AEMC is committed to broadening young people's understanding of science and technology, encouraging them to explore career opportunities in the semiconductor industry, cultivating outstanding local technology talent for Taiwan, and fulfilling its corporate social responsibility to create shared value for society.
