📢Cultivating Local Talent~ 2025 AEMC New Immigrant Children Scholarship Program Now Open📢

In recent years, AEMC Corporation has established a semiconductor materials production base at the Kaohsiung Science Park. To encourage the children of new immigrants in Taiwan to pursue academic excellence and foster multicultural research and development, the company has partnered with the Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center in Kaohsiung City to launch the “2025 New Immigrant Children Scholarship Program.” This year's program expands coverage to all of Kaohsiung and increases scholarship slots. Through concrete actions, we support outstanding children of new immigrants in completing their education. We hope this initiative will inspire more companies to join us, fostering a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable society in Taiwan.

📅 Application Period:

From now until Friday, August 15, 2025.

🎓 Eligibility/Scholarship Quota:

1. Applicants must have actual residence or registered domicile in the Kaohsiung area.

2. Children of new immigrants (foreign nationals, stateless persons, residents of the mainland region, Hong Kong or Macau residents, or stateless nationals who have acquired Taiwanese nationality through marriage and naturalization) who are legally residing in Taiwan, have settled and established household registration in Taiwan. Currently residing in Taiwan and enrolled in a public or private high school or vocational school (or higher level, excluding supplementary classes) for at least two semesters.

3. Students from economically disadvantaged or special-circumstance new immigrant families, with valid supporting documents such as relevant proof, a copy of household registration, or a written recommendation from a teacher.

IV. Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

🔘Scholarship Quotas:

I. High School (Vocational) Excellence Scholarship and Special Talent Scholarship: 4 recipients each, totaling 8 recipients. NT$6,000 per recipient.

2. College/University (and above) Excellence Scholarship and Special Talent Scholarship: 9 recipients each, totaling 18 recipients, each receiving NT$8,000.

3. Scholarship quotas within each category may be allocated flexibly.

🔘Application Process:

I. Electronic Application:
Scan all application materials into a single PDF file and email to the Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center contact person (E-mail: tina6962779@gmail.com). Please follow up with a phone call to confirm receipt of your application.

2. Paper Application: Applicants, schools, or organizations should mail the recommendation form and copies of supporting documents directly to: Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center.

 Review results will be announced on August 25, 2025, on the official websites of our company and the Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center. Our company will notify selected students by phone. Subsequently, our company and the Luzhu New Immigrant Family Service Center will jointly organize the scholarship award ceremony.
